Abelia Plant

A wonderful medium-sized September and Oct blooming plant, slow-growing and ideal for smaller sized landscapes. Vegetation are time tested in light winter weather seasons, but need protection from hard freeze. In really revealed sites plants can be cut down in fall and then protected with a 15cm (6in)
compost of debris, removed away again in may or they may be left to take their chance, reducing them down in Goal if broken over winter weather. In areas that do not have such a severe environment plants should be trimmed in Apr to eliminate any deceased or broken wooden. The smooth light red blossoms are gently fresh and are created from September until Oct. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
