Callicarpa bodinieri var. giraldii 'Profusion' Plants

The varieties is not very often expanded, partially because several vegetation need to be expanded together to generate excellent plants of the purple bead-like fruits. 'Profusion' is a great enhancement, fruiting well on its own, with large loaded groups of the fruits, in mid-autumn, the actual with the fantastic purple vegetation shades and then constant after leaf-fall. The young vegetation is bronze-purple, and makes excellent material for flower vases, as do simple divisions loaded with fruits. Plants accept a little calcium in the ground, but circumstances which are too alkaline will cause vegetation discoloring.
